Dan has built greenfield security capability from the ground up, guided organisations through complex certification programmes, pioneered work on some of the first digital payment platforms and mobile banking security implementations and run integrated fusion centres combining threat intelligence, incident response, physical security and governance into a single operational picture. He has partnered with government agencies, intelligence services and law enforcement on specialist advisory against cyber enabled crime across borders.
He maintains hands-on engineering knowledge across data centre infrastructure, network architecture and security tooling. A contributor to the Ransomware Task Force and World Economic Forum initiatives, Dan regularly speaks to boards and executive leadership on risk, operational resilience, digital resilience and security strategy. He has also built and advised startups on security architecture, go-to-market strategy and investor readiness.
